Standard began in a small warehouse in Salt Lake City, Utah more than 20 years ago. Since then, we have expanded to 7 locations and an excellent staff of people who love what they do.

While more than half of the equipment and supply distributors that were in business 5 years ago are no longer in business, Standard has more than doubled in size. Because of this, we are able to retain the same employees over a long period of time with invaluable expertise in each of their fields. You, our customers can buy goods and services from us and call us later with any questions. We will be there to answer the phone and help you.

Our sales consultants are the most experienced in our industry. They have a vast knowledge on current issues relating to our industry. Such as food safety, on the job safety, health, trends, industry standards, product knowledge, etc. This knowledge is passed on to you, our customers, helping you to run your business in the very best way possible and giving you the best value for your dollar.

A Little About our CEO and Founder

Our CEO, Ellery Kingston , his sister Ilona, and his mother, Ardous started Standard's vast legacy in a small warehouse in June of 1980.
